About Us
Meet Nicole!
Ever since Nicole was young, she has always loved animals... especially dogs. But ironically, she never owned a dog growing up! (Crazy, right?) She just had such a passion for animals that she decided to pursue a career with very little background and experience with them, and that's when she decided to become a dog groomer.Nicole became a certified dog groomer in 2019 and has been in the grooming industry for 5+ years. She has been told by many that she has a special connection with dogs. Grooming came very easy to her, and understanding dogs' behavior and body language played a huge role in that.
Nicole is constantly continuing her education-- whether that be studying the canine skin and coat, canine body language, or expanding her grooming knowledge, she is always learning something new!

FAQ
What vaccinations are required?
An up to date Rabies vaccination will be required. Puppies 11 weeks and under are exempt from the vaccine requirement until they are old enough to receive their first round of vaccines. You will need to take a photo of it when booking an appointment.
Do you need water or electric?
In most cases, no. We have a fully self-sufficient van, but in the unlikely event we need an electric or water hook-up, we have the necessary equipment to do so.
Where do you travel?
We travel within a 15 mile radius of Oley. A fuel charge of $25 will be applied to those over 15 miles away. We pull right up to your house and all grooming will take place in the van!*We need two car-sized parking spaces worth of space to park!
Do you express anal glands?
No, we do not express anal glands because we believe that should be performed by a qualified veterinarian. Anal glands require a diagnosis and treatment, and being internal, it's vet territory. If you suspect anal gland complications, please contact your vet.
Do you travel for a nail trim only?
We offer nail trim only services to additional dogs in a household with a dog who is receiving a full service package. We do not travel just for a nail trim. However, if you would like a "Mini Spa" Package (refer to the "Services" tab) we will travel for that under the circumstance that we are in your service area that day.
What is the cancellation policy?
There is a 50% cancellation fee applied to all appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. If you know you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
How often should I get my dog groomed?
We recommend regular grooming every 4-8 weeks, depending on coat length and coat type. If no brushing is being done at home, 4-6 week appointments may be required. 4-8 weeks is ideal for the heavy shedding breeds, this will keep shedding to a minimum in your home. Dogs that only require the bath package may be encouraged to be done regularly to maintain their nails. This will prevent long, curled overgrown nails that will cause discomfort to your pup.
Do I need to be home during my appointment?
Nope! We do offer latchkey services, however, you are required to be home for your first appointment. Any following appointments will qualify for latchkey services.
We will need to take note of an outside key or garage passcode to enter. If paying by card, a payment link will be sent to you via text and will be required by the end of that business day.The pup must be crated or confined to a small room if you are not home.
How can I acclimate my new puppy to the grooming process?
It's important to acclimate them to the grooming process as soon as possible. The younger they start, the more likely they are to associate grooming with a positive experience!
The grooming experience should start before the puppy even meets the groomer. Start by brushing them at home and getting them used to the brushing sensation all over their body (especially legs, face, and tail). Another tip is to rub their feet, toes, and nails to desensitize their paws and nails from being touched.
Bonus tip: Run an old electric toothbrush along their paw pads and nails to get them used to the vibration of a clipper and nail grinder on their feet.We encourage scheduling a grooming appointment the day you bring your new furry friend home!
How can I help my anxious/energetic dog before their grooming appointment?
Mobile grooming is a great option for anxious dogs, as it eliminates the loud, stressful environment of a salon and it's totally one-on-one.For anxious dogs, give the recommended amount of calming treats at least 1 hour before their appointment. If your pup requires Gabapentin or Trazodone, make sure it's administered 2 hours before their appointment. For energetic dogs, take on a long walk or have an active play session in the yard before their appointment.
My dog is old, can it be groomed?
All dogs benefit from being groomed. However age, illness, and disability may require special handling and treatment during the grooming process for seniors. Some dogs may need an extra hand being groomed, and therefore would benefit in a vet or salon environment where multiple members can work on a senior dog together. If any doubts please contact your vet who can help you decide what is best for your pup.
